Wave Global Training Program

In the beginning of 2023, Deloitte and Salesforce teamed up on a quest to gather Ukrainians in Ukraine and across Europe to provide a free 14-week program introducing to Salesforce ecosystem and the associated career opportunities

• The Ukrainian Career Cohort was the first global cohort launched in the Wave Program.
• This cohort was designed to train 100 Ukrainians disbursed across Europe in the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Cohort by the numbers:
  • 100 available spots
  • 350 qualified applicants
  • 83 participants
  • 22 Associate certifications
  • 4 Admin certifications

In the beginning of 2023, Deloitte and Salesforce teamed up with OneTen to provide a free 14-week program introducing to Salesforce ecosystem and the associated career opportunities.

• OneTen aims to close the opportunity gap for Black talent in America.
• OneTen’s mission is to hire promote and advance one million Black individuals who do not have a four-year degree into family-sustaining careers over the next ten years.
• Cohort by the numbers:
  • 50+ participants
  • 28 total certifications (Associate + Admin)
  • 12+ Deloitte coaches and volunteers
  • 1000+ Hrs of dedicated hours dedicated to supporting the cohort and participants
  • 5 cohort members selected as part of Deloitte’s C&M Apprenticeship program

In the beginning of 2023, Deloitte and Salesforce teamed up on a quest to help develop Brazilian Women in Tech and to provide a free 11-week program introducing to Salesforce ecosystem and the associated career opportunities.

• The main goal was to complete the Talent Alliance Career Cohort coaching program, obtain Salesforce certifications, and acquire valuable experience.
• Cohort by the numbers:
  • 65 available spots
  • 282 qualified applicants
  • 63 participants selected
  • 23-25 active participants in TA Career Cohort
  • 10 Salesforce Associate Certifications
  • 3 participants hired

The Wave program in the Latin American Region rolled out a Salesforce Talent Alliance Career Cohort in April 2023.

• More than 100 women from four different Latin American countries – Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Mexico – were selected to participate in the Career Cohort.
• Our team of passionate professionals included 8 coaches, 8 professionals of different levels and backgrounds supporting the planning and execution of the program.
• Cohort by the numbers:
  • 100 available spots
  • 130 qualified applicants
  • 109 participants
  • 31 Associate certifications

• In the summer of 2023, Deloitte and Cherokee Nation teamed up with Salesforce via our Wave Program to provide free Salesforce foundational training and individualized coaching to learners over the course of 12 weeks.
• The Cherokee Nation is the largest sovereign tribal government in the US with more than 450,000 tribal citizens worldwide.
• Their mission includes improving the quality of life for the next 7 generations of its citizens.
• Cohort by the numbers:
  • 80 available spots
  • 450 qualified applicants
  • 10% set aside for non-college graduates
  • 80 participants
  • 26 Associate certifications
  • 5 Admin and Business Analyst certifications

Wave was founded to provide more inclusive and accessible opportunities to individuals with non-traditional backgrounds, regardless of their educational levels or career experience. Wave supports the development of diverse talent and participants who successfully complete the program will expand their professional networks and gain the valuable experience needed to jumpstart their career journey.

While Deloitte works with these partners for each region to identify suitable participants for each cohort, please note that we do not select participants directly for the Wave program.

The Deloitte & Salesforce Career Cohort Program is a 12–16-week program designed to provide training, mentorship, and hands-on learning opportunities in the Salesforce ecosystem. The program consists of five parts where the participants will gain:

• Coaching & Mentorship – Coaching led by Deloitte practitioners to support participants as they navigate the Salesforce ecosystem using lessons learned and best practices
• Professional Development Skills – Training sessions focused on developing core soft skills such as interviewing, networking and effectively communicating so cohort participants are job-ready
• Salesforce Technical Skills – Virtual learning material to build technical proficiency and experience using a combination of Trailhead learning modules and virtual instructor-led sessions
• Hands-On Learning Simulation – Realistic project simulations where participants will work in teams to highlight their technical aptitude and soft skills and build applicable Salesforce solutions
• Career Opportunities – Opportunities to connect with potential employers through mock interview prep, apprenticeship roles, and virtual career fairs sponsored by Salesforce

In general, each program will require a commitment of 10-12 hours per week from participants to take full advantage of it.
