Deloitte Digital, in collaboration with Salesforce, and OneTen Drive Purposeful Impact Through Wave Training Program

In collaboration with Salesforce and OneTen, Deloitte Digital has successfully delivered its Salesforce Wave Training Program to professionals referred through the OneTen coalition. This success is another milestone in advancing our 10-year investment in fostering an equitable workforce through addressing education and workforce development.
About Wave OneTen Career Cohort
In December 2022, Deloitte Digital collaborated with OneTen to identify 50 participants for the Salesforce Wave OneTen Career Cohort. This 14-week training program provided Salesforce training, career mentorship, and one-on-one coaching to help cohort participants achieve Salesforce credentials and them prepare them to launch a career as a Salesforce professional. Deloitte Digital professionals volunteered to serve as coaches and trainers, dedicating over 1000 hours of their time to make this program a success. Volunteer support included mentorship sessions, coaching and insights into professional success factors, and introducing the cohort to the Salesforce ecosystem. As an integral alliance, Salesforce also provided core training sessions on the platform and vouchers that gave participants the opportunity to become accredited Salesforce professionals. Additional details about the training program include:
- Trailhead Virtual Bootcamp + Fundamentals: Salesforce led training encompassing the basics of the platform such as platform features, overview of CRM, and configuration experience in Salesforce.
- OneTen Career Breakout Sessions: Mentored by 12+ Deloitte Digital coaches on career advice and insights into the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Business Chemistry: Session led by Deloitte Digital coaches to help participants understand how their natural tendencies and thought patterns improve professional experience and teaming.
- Associate Office Hours: One-on-One coaching by Deloitte Digital trainers for additional assistance to pass the Associate certification.
Results of Wave OneTen Career Cohort
Over the course of the program, participants achieved 28 certifications and over 1400+ Trailhead badges, showcasing completion and understanding of Salesforce concepts and skills. Participants who successfully completed the program obtained a Salesforce certification and had the opportunity to apply for entry-level roles, including a 6-month Apprenticeship in Deloitte Digital’s Salesforce practice.
