Tom Hodson
Government and Public Services (GPS) Strategy and Analytics Leader | Lead Client Service Partner
Tom is a Principal in Deloitte’s Strategy and Analytics practice, and serves as the Global Lead Client Service Partner for the United States Department of State, responsible for all facets of Deloitte’s relationship with the department. Prior to leading the Deloitte team at DoS, Tom led one Deloitte’s largest global commercial accounts, managing a global team that delivered 50+ programs in more than a dozen countries around the world.
Tom has 20 years of consulting experience, with an emphasis on aligning executive teams on the strategic change required to drive operational improvement, and developing and implementing comprehensive roadmaps that cover all facets of transformation. He has led multiple complex, global engagements encompassing organizational, process and technology change, and is a certified black belt in Lean / Six Sigma. He is an experienced strategist and facilitator.
Tom holds a Master of Business Administration from Emory University, and a Master of Communications from American University. Prior to joining Deloitte, he spent seven years working on Capitol Hill, first as a Legislative Assistant in the House of Representatives and then as a Legislative Director in the United States Senate, where he advised on a wide range of public policy issues, including budget, tax and regulatory policy.
