Stanley serves as Deloitte’s Global & US Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) Industry Leader. He oversees and drives the development and execution of the overall ER&I strategy across all geographies and businesses, including more than 44,000 professionals and serving close to 75% of the Global Fortune 500 clients. The ER&I industry practice represents the Industrial Products & Construction; Oil, Gas & Chemicals; Mining & Metals, and Power, Utilities & Renewables sectors.
Stanley has more than 30 years of industry and global client leader experience, and has worked with some of the largest names in the industry on a range of business issues, assisting client executives in strategy, restructuring, mergers, operations optimization, and technology adoption. Dedicated to helping clients navigate the fourth Industrial Revolution and transitioning to a lower carbon future, Stanley has worked with clients to become more sustainable, develop decarbonizing strategies and energy-efficient solutions that address rising environmental and social challenges. He has published several articles on ESG, sustainable strategies, and smart energy management strategies for industrials.
Stanley is proud to serve on the Millstein Center for Global Markets & Governance Board of Advisors, United States Energy Association Board of Directors, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington Board of Directors, and the Afterschool Alliance Board of Directors. He is a member of the Executive Leadership Council.
Stanley has received a Bachelor of Science from Wofford College and Master of Business Administration from Duke University – Fuqua School of Business.
