Pedro Tavares is the Global 5G Offering Leader and the Global Telecom Engineering Excellence (gTEE) team Partner Leader, at Deloitte. Also, he is Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industry Leader at Deloitte Portugal.
With more than 25 years of experience, Pedro has been responsible for the creation of telecommunication teams in several countries/ regions, including The Netherlands, Australia, Brazil, Middle East, and Singapore. Advising C-Levels of the main national and international organizations on matters related to product development, business strategy and adoption to new technologies, he holds deep technical and business knowledge on 5G and Beyond, network virtualization, automation, and protection.
Pedro is collaborating and developing best practices and standards, around quantum networks and OpenRAN, and currently the spokesperson for Deloitte on 5G-related issues.
