Maria-Alexandra is a member of our Data Protection and Privacy practice group.
She has participated in more than 40 GDPR and e-Privacy Directive compliance projects. These include data mapping, maturity assessments, gap analyses, policies and procedures, privacy notices, cookie notices and settings, data protection impact assessments, legal opinions on the lawfulness of specific data processing operations, also undertaking DPO or DPO support services.
Maria-Alexandra is the Technology Leader for KBVL.
She graduated as a scholar from the Law School of Athens in 2015 with distinction and earned her master’s degree in International Criminal Law as a scholar from the University of Amsterdam and Columbia University in 2017, with distinction. She has also been a student at Paris1-Pantheon-Sorbonne, The Hague Academy of International Law and Salzburg Law School.
She has interned at the Hellenic Parliament, the International Criminal Court in The Hague, as well as the Office of Legal Affairs of the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
She has been a Jessup moot court alumna and judge, an International Criminal Court moot court coach, a member of the Hellenic Sailing National Team and has participated in the Hellenic Olympiad for Mathematics.
