Aziza advises clients on various tax issues arising in the contexts of multinational operations, (re)structuring, financing, mergers and acquisitions, migration, repatriation, and other cross-border transactions. Her current focus is on foreign currency aspects of financial transactions, global operations, reorganizations, distributions, and corporate treasury functions.
Aziza has taught various international tax courses for tax practitioners and corporate tax counsel, including programs of the American Bar Association, and served in editorial positions of legal publications. She has authored pieces for Deloitte and for external publications, including Tax Notes.
Aziza is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center’s LLM program in taxation. She received her JD, cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School and BBA, magna cum laude, in international business with a concentration in finance from Eastern Michigan University. Aziza is fluent in Russian and proficient in French and Ukrainian languages.
