Deloitte at One Young World 2023 Summit Belfast

Great minds. Bold ideas. Meaningful change

For the 2023 OYW summit, Deloitte is the opening ceremony principal partner and we’re sending delegates from over 30 countries who are set to solve the world’s toughest challenges. The plenary challenge themes for the 2023 Belfast Summit are: peace and reconciliation, climate emergency, food crisis, education, and mental health.

Together, we can all make an impact that matters.

People. Purpose. Potential.

This year’s Summit provides the perfect platform to accelerate equity, sustainability, and shared prosperity. Against an inspiring Belfast backdrop, it’s all about leading the way—one action at a time.

Our 52 Deloitte professionals, five Deloitte OYW scholars, two Lead2030 challenge winners and ten Northern Ireland-based community group delegates are ready to excel.

From panels to livestreams and podcasts, connect with our #OYW2023 insights.

Deloitte and One Young World

Our collaboration with One Young World develops young professionals into future leaders who can tackle the issues that matter most.

The Green Room: a Deloitte podcast

The Green Room is an award-winning podcast exploring the topics that matter most in business. Every episode, we cover a big question in 45 minutes or less, from climate and tech to inclusion and the future of work.

One city. Endless opportunity.

Belfast is bursting with energy and innovation. From its amazing people to iconic venues and thriving social scene, OYW visitors are set for a memorable experience.

The Summit coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement— providing young leaders with a timely opportunity to connect with the history of Northern Ireland and truly bring to life their learnings from the Summit.

Like the city itself, we see the spirit of energy, ambition and optimism in our delegates and their unwavering commitment to positively impact the world.

We’re delighted to be headline sponsors for this year's summit, in a city we’re proud to have a long legacy in. Our new office opens (pictured above) in early 2024 in a converted linen factory.

In the complex environments we work in, experimenting allows us to remove uncertainty, learn and develop quickly and de-risk innovation.

Can we change the system from the inside? Making positive impact through corporations is not an easy task. Frequent barriers can lead to feelings of cynicism and loneliness. In this workshop we will present:

  • An example of how change makers across the Swiss Private Sector unite in the Alliance 4 Corporate Change (A4CC), to inspire each other by sharing achievements and approaches to driving change in organizations, collaborating on impactful projects, and holding each other accountable on progress
  • Following the introduction to the A4CC, participants will follow the A4CC approach, by first identifying the key levers and hurdles to driving positive change in their organizations and then brainstorming solutions together
